The first planned community developed by The Walt Disney Company. While EPCOT Center was originally planned as an "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow", we all know that the first incarnation of Walt Disney's dream is a gated tourist attraction instead of a true planned community including a downtown, health center, school, post office, town hall, golf course, single family homes, townhouses and apartments. Disney used the services of some very well known architects in developing the plans for the town of Celebration, Florida.
Celebration's post office was designed by Michael Graves, whose other projects include the Swan and Dolphin hotels at Walt Disney World. The emminent Philip Johnson, famous for the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center, the AT&T Corporate Headquarters in New York, and the Glass House of New Canaan, Connecticut, designed the Celebration Town Hall. The Celebration Hotel was designed by Graham Gund and its construction is being overseen by the firm of Lindsay, Pope, Brayfield & Associates. The interiors of the Disney Cruise Line offices at Celebration Place were designed by Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates Architects and Interior Designers. SunTrust Bank operates the Celebration bank, designed by Venturi, Scott Brown & Associates Inc., and AMC operates the AMC Celebration 2 state-of-the-art theaters with stadium seating, designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates. Celebration Health hospital facility was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and operated by the Florida Hospital, provides health services, a fitness center and preventative medicine programs.
For residential real estate, there are six design styles for houses in Celebration, Florida:
Celebration has over 4000 residents, who have made the town of Celebration their home in central Florida.

Celebration is located on the south side of U.S. Highway 192, five miles south of Walt Disney World near the intersection of Interstate 4 and U.S. Highway 192 East and surrounded by a 4,700-acre protected greenbelt with miles of walking paths. Located just a few miles from the Disney Resort, Celebration has become the community where young families want to raise their children and where "old timer" Floridians can experience the nostalgia of a friendly small town atmosphere and traditional architectural styles.
